The committee supports and enhances programs like GSAP. Promoting joint problem-solving between labor and management to address safety issues proactively.
INJURY PREVENTION & HAZARD MITIGATION
JATSC works to reduce injuries among airline workers by identifying hazards, analyzing trends, and recommending solutions that improve workplace safety on the ramp and in all operational areas.
TRAINING & EDUCATION
JATSC helps develop and support training initiatives to educate frontline workers and safety reps on best practices, regulatory compliance, and proper use of PPE and equipment.
WORKER ADVOCACY & REPORTING SYSTEMS
JATSC encourages a strong safety reporting culture by promoting the use of confidential safety systems and advocating for timely responses to employee concerns without fear of retaliation..
